Trusted Home Care For Your Pets & Farm Animals

About Gallop Pet Sitting

I am dedicated to animals, our customers, and our rescue partners. Gallop Pet Sitting supports animal rescue initiatives and contributes to local rescue organizations as resources permit. I am personally devoted to assisting animals in need.

Introducing Founder Heidi Bailey

Growing up on a ranch with over 85 horses of various breeds, ages, and sizes, I have extensive experience in all aspects of equestrian care. I rode and competed in gymkhana, cutting, English, hunter/jumper, and more, showing at the State Fair and various equestrian clubs in the Sacramento area. I also taught horsemanship and riding lessons to children and adults.

Our ranch was home to cows, chickens, pigs, rabbits, and several dogs and cats. I even had a pet chicken named Petie. Today, I share my life with two Miniature Pinschers, a Chihuahua, a cat, and two horses. I also have experience with law enforcement canines, including German Shepherds, Belgian Malinois, Dutch Shepherds, and Labrador Retrievers, as well as Search & Rescue canines.

Years ago, I shared my dream of opening a pet sitting business with a work partner, and he asked what I would call it. Naturally, I said, “Gallop Pet Sitting.” With my own pets and a busy schedule, it was challenging to find time away, so I understand the importance of reliable care.

Now, I’m thrilled to turn my passion into a reality. You can trust me to always do what’s best for your animals while you’re away. Call or text today to reserve your dates and schedule a meet & greet. I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies!
